自由が丘南口音楽プロジェクトとは
自由が丘南口音楽プロジェクト（JMMP)とは、バイオリニスト TSUMUZI さんを音楽担当アンバサダーとして迎え、自由が丘南口商店街の活性化を目指すプロジェクトです。
第2弾となる今回は3/28-3/29に開催される桜祭りに向けての企画となります。
桜祭り当日はTSUMUZI さんの生演奏もありますのでぜひお越しください。

 音楽担当アンバサダーからのメッセージ
皆さまこんにちは。自由が丘南口音楽担当アンバサダーのバイオリニストのTSUMUZI(ツムジ)です。第2弾となる今回のプロジェクトに選んだ楽曲は、コロナ禍が始まった2020年の春に作曲した『沈黙の春のソネット』です。
1962年アメリカの生物学者 レイチェル・カーソンはその著書「沈黙の春」において行き過ぎた環境破壊が進めば ”春は来るが、鳥たちの鳴かない沈黙の春が来るだろう” と警鐘を鳴らしました。しかしあの当時世界を襲ったパンデミックで沈黙させられたのは皮肉なことに人間の方でした。世界情勢が激変し先行きの見えない昨今ですが、不安の中に一筋の希望が差し込むようなこの曲のメロディーが、皆さまの新シーズンに華を添えることができれば幸いです。

～Jijyugaoka Minamiguchi Music Project vol.2 ～

From March.15 to April.5, 2026, “Sonnet for Silent Spring” (composed and performed by TSUMUZI) will be played approximately every 15 minutes between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM at the south exit of Jiyugaoka Station.
Enjoy this beautiful melody expressing the exhilaration of spring arrival after a long winter.

What is Jiyugaoka Minamiguchi Music Project?
The Jiyugaoka Minamiguchi Music Project (JMMP) aims to revitalize the Jiyugaoka South Exit Shopping District by welcoming violinist TSUMUZI as its Music Ambassador.
The second installment is in run up to the upcoming Cherry Blossom Festival on March 28-29.
TSUMUZI will be performing live during the festival, so please come join us!

Message from the Music Ambassador
Hello everyone.
My name is TSUMUZI, a violinist, and I am honored to serve as the Music Ambassador for Jiyugaoka Minamiguchi.
For this second installment of the project, I have selected “Sonnet for Silent Spring,” a piece I composed in the spring of 2020, at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
In her 1962 book Silent Spring, American biologist Rachel Carson warned that if environmental destruction were allowed to continue unchecked, “spring would come, but it would be a silent spring, without the songs of birds.”
Yet during the pandemic that later swept across the world, it was, ironically, humanity itself that was forced into silence.
In these times of rapidly changing global circumstances and an uncertain future, I have chosen this melody with the hope that, even amid anxiety, a gentle ray of light might quietly find its way through.
I sincerely hope that this music add a touch of color to the beginning of your new season.
