自由が丘南口音楽プロジェクトとは

自由が丘南口音楽プロジェクト（JMMP)とは、バイオリニスト TSUMUZI さんを音楽担当アンバサダーとして迎え、自由が丘南口商店街の活性化を目指すプロジェクトです。
第１弾となる今回は11/16(日)のクリスマス点灯式から始まります。当日はTSUMUZI さんの生演奏もありますのでぜひお越しください。

音楽担当アンバサダーからのメッセージ

このたび自由が丘南口音楽担当アンバサダーに就任しましたバイオリニストのTSUMUZI(ツムジ)です。
2022年に南口のクリスマスツリー点灯式で初めて演奏させて頂いてから、様々なイベント出演を重ねこの街の皆さんと共に歩んできました。アンバサダー就任後、初の仕事となる今回のプロジェクトに選んだ楽曲は、コロナ禍の2020年にオー・ヘンリーの傑作短編『賢者のおくりもの』からインスピレーションを受けて作曲した5拍子のクリスマス・ナンバーです。
誰かが誰かを想う気持ちにフォーカスした心温まる楽曲が、皆さまのクリスマスの想い出に華を添えることができれば幸いです。

～Jijyugaoka Minamiguchi Music Project vol.1 ～

From November 16 to December 25, 2025, “The Lovely Gift of the Magi” (composed and performed by TSUMUZI) will be played approximately every 15 minutes between 11:00 AM and 9:00 PM at the south exit of Jiyugaoka Station.

What is Jiyugaoka Minamiguchi Music Project?

The Jiyugaoka Minamiguchi Music Project (JMMP) aims to revitalize the Jiyugaoka South Exit Shopping District by welcoming violinist TSUMUZI as its Music Ambassador.
The first installment begins with the Christmas Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, November 16th.
Live music by TSUMUZI will be performed that day, so please come join us！

Message from the Music Ambassador

I am TSUMUZI, a violinist who has recently been appointed as the Music Ambassador for Jiyugaoka Minamiguchi. Since my first performance at the Minamiguchi Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in 2022, I have participated in various events and walked alongside the people of this town. For my first project as Ambassador, I've chosen a piece composed in 2020 during the pandemic. Inspired by O. Henry's masterpiece short story “The Gift of the Magi,” it's a Christmas number in 5 beats.
I hope this heartwarming piece, which focuses on the feelings of someone thinking of someone else, will add grace to your Christmas memories.
